As part of Deliveroo’s brand refresh, I was asked to come on board to look at how to reposition Deliveroo’s brand photography inline with their updated tone of voice – where food matters.
Food would be shot from the perspective of the consumer, after it arrived from Deliveroo. As you where about to take a bite of a burger, pour Pho into a bowl, or cutting into a slice of cake – food presented in a scenario that resonates with consumers. Its slightly imperfect, packaging within shot, maybe there are hands grabbing slices of pizza – it isn’t lifestyle but real life.
Key shots included: food only, with consumer interaction and finally, a wider scene with more context whilst keeping the food hero.
